 You’ll want to make sure your sprinkler system is up to the task of hydrating your plants before your system is required to do so during the heat of summer. That is why we offer our irrigation startup service from April through May. We’ll make sure your system is up and running perfectly so that it will be able to provide your plants with the hydration that they need during the growing season.

 At the start of your irrigation system activation, we will gradually open the main water supply so pressure increases slowly and safely. This careful process helps protect your pipes and components from potential damage caused by a sudden surge of water. As pressure builds, we’ll thoroughly inspect the system for any signs of leaks, cracks, or other issues.

Once the system is fully pressurized, we’ll operate each irrigation zone individually to confirm everything is functioning correctly and that your controller is responding properly. While each zone is running, we’ll examine every sprinkler head to ensure water is being distributed evenly and directed exactly where it’s needed.

After all zones have been carefully tested and approved, we’ll complete the service by setting up and adjusting your controller. We’ll program it to deliver the appropriate amount of water to each zone, helping your landscape receive consistent and efficient hydration.

  Things happen over the winter season and some repairs may be needed when it come time to starting your system. Some of the issues we commnly see when performing or startup inculde broken sprinkler heads, cracked lines, faulty rain sensors, or even a backflow preventer valve breaking. We do perform small repairs during our startup visit.
